Sharpen the Saw

Understanding how we respond to specific triggers we encounter in our day takes behavioral intelligence.  At the intersections between psychology, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and verbal and societal behaviors, Sharpen the Saw helps leaders cultivate new behaviors.

Behavioral intelligence for leader growth

Self-discovery around the neuroscience of behaviors can help us to see that our behavior often builds our beliefs. The neural pathways are what our brain creates in response to environmental stimuli that we observe as an automatic unconscious response.


Scientific research allows us to understand how our brains process information and separate behaviors from intentions. Intentions are thoughts that lead us to acting out a behavior and behaviors are learned.  


We leverage the AccuMatch Behavior Map which is founded on the understanding of the intersections between psychology, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and verbal and societal behaviors.  The AccuMatch profile starts the journey to understanding the importance of behavioral intelligence in the workplace, and as a result, working together more effectively. Leaders gain understanding of how their reactive tendencies are powering current outcomes and experiences. 


The Behavior Map is complimented by four group workshops to build behavioral intelligence capabilities.  These immersive group experiences provide opportunities for leaders to reflect on and adapt their behavior by experimenting with new narratives, interrupting old patterns, and expanding their mental models.   


How perspective empowers leaders

Leaders solidify their capability to consistently evolve their behaviors to respond and make decisions to drive impact more successfully. 


Leaders have an opportunity for reflection throughout the process in monthly engagements with the leadership coach to debrief on what is working, and what can be done better to cultivate new behaviors.


Leaders increase awareness of how they engage with others and create a culture of empowerment that inspires their teams to bring their best every day.

  • Individual Behavioral Intelligence assessment (repeated at 6 and 12-month intervals) with in-depth debriefs with facilitator
  • 4x group workshops (1 to 2 hours in duration depending on topic)
  • ​12x monthly 1-1 coaching sessions
